Elaine Losey has been a passionate promoter of singing and uplifting the hearts through music. From her early life she performed accompanying herself with a guitar as well as lead group singing. She has sung in several choruses including Voices of Baha. Collecting music which expresses the love of God and the spiritual principles for this age became her life-long passion when she became a member of the Baha’i Faith in 1971. Since then she has collected music and shared songs in her travels to 66 countries to date and in her life as a pioneer in Asia for 29 years. At age 22 she traveled to Kenya and Uganda for three months, guitar in hand, to learn from the local people of their music and to share her songs. During the ten week tour in 8 CIS (former Soviet Union) countries, she sang in the "Light of Unity" Baha’i choir in 12 languages. On another trip she took the Trans-Siberian Railway to Siberia and spent six weeks sharing the Baha’i Faith with others through music. Elaine also enjoyed singing "barbershop" four-part harmony as a member of Sweet Adeline’s International choruses. She has recorded the CD "Heartfelt Connections".

Beth King-Mock and Elaine Losey connected for this project with an intense passion for spiritual music that inspires hearts. Beth has enjoyed singing harmony in various choirs and chamber music ensembles. Her piano and keyboard experience of 50+ years, her guitar playing and folk singing of 40+ years and education in musical arranging are a strong foundation of her skills in music. She has been transcribing and arranging music for friends since the early 1980s. We have both enjoyed making these scores and hope they will provide wings to the souls of all who use them.
